brand board : blueprints for your site’s visual language

in short: a brand board is the blueprints for your site’s visual language — colors, fonts, logo variations, button styles — agreed on before anyone picks up a hammer. it’s how we make sure we’re both picturing the same house before the contractors show up.

a brand board is something we build together early in the process of creating your website. it lives in the background of the build so that when decisions come up — what color is that button, how big is that heading, does this photo feel right — we have something to measure against instead of starting from scratch every time.

what it isn’t: it’s not your logo, it’s not your website, and it’s not a guarantee that every corner of the internet will look exactly like it. it’s a working reference, not a finished product. it also isn’t permanent — brands evolve, and the blueprints can be updated. but having them at the start means the decisions we make together early don’t have to be re-litigated every time we add a page or a new piece of content.

it’s the agreement we keep pointing back to.
